Designed to help families establish their infant feeding goals and develop a plan to thrive. We’ll review your health history, breast anatomy, and goals to make sure you step into parenthood with confidence.
Included in this consultation is a full feeding evaluation, milk supply assessment, infant oral assessment, flange fitting and pumping education, and a customized plan to meet your goal.
For clients who have already established care with GROW, and need continued support
For families who need to teach their infant to take a bottle.
Get professionally fitted for pump flanges and learn what all the different buttons on your pump do. This service is also included in the initial lactation consultation.
This educational consultation is designed to help tired families find ways to get more rest while still being protective of their feeding goals. Since sleep and feeding practices are closely linked, we can’t separate the two acts.
Co-Treatment Sessions
Infant feeding is a full-body experience! Grow is proud to offer optional co-treatment sessions with two of Polk County’s best infant-specialized chiropractors, which means you attend one appointment to get the support you need from your lactation consultant and your baby’s chiropractor. If you’re interested in a co-treatment session, be sure to mention that on the booking form.
Chiropractic care for babies is unique in the sense that it does not require cavitation (cracking joints) like an adult adjustment. The technique uses the same amount of pressure that you would use to check the ripeness of a tomato. Chiropractic care can help with reflux, colic, latching, sleep habits, stooling habits, and much more!
Meet Stephanie
Stephanie is a board-certified lactation consultant (IBCLC), which is the gold standard for lactation and infant feeding support. She is currently practicing in and around Lakeland, FL through her private practice GROW Lakeland, LLC.
She first started working with families in 2017 as a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist and postpartum doula, and quickly realized that supporting families was her professional calling. The road to IBCLC is long and challenging, but she passed the board exam in 2022 and launched GROW in 2023.
Shortly after passing her board exam, she jumped straight into advanced training programs for oral function & ties, bottle refusal, and infant reflexes to better support local families dealing with the most difficult feeding challenges. In addition to staying up-to-date in her training, she also partners closely with other support providers to ensure that the family unit is fully supported through any necessary referral processes.
